The Festival covers a wide range of music including classical, folk, jazz, rock and traditional Scottish music.  There are events for solo singers and instrumentalists in addition to a full programme for choirs, orchestras, bands and ensembles. Speech and drama events include recitation of verse and prose, extracts from plays and television scripts, television news reading and public speaking.  The dance section is presented in association with the Glasgow Branch of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society.

With such a large and varied programme there are sure to be events for you.  Come along and enjoy the performances, share the excitement and, if you like, compare your views with the adjudicator's assessment!  Don't miss the Last Night of the Festival, a showcase of the best performances.  Tickets for all events can be purchased at the door.  Souvenir Programmes are on sale during the Festival.
